Adam Lind is back.

He arrived from exile, otherwise known as triple-A Las Vegas, on June 25.

He homered twice in his fourth game back and hit a three-run homer Tuesday night giving the Jays a 6-3 win over the Kansas City Royals before 15,516 fans at the Rogers Centre.

And Wednesday night Lind will be promoted from the No. 8 spot in the batting order.

"I'm simply happy to be here," said Lind, the clean-up hitter on opening day in Cleveland. "Hitting a home run in 110-degree weather in Tucson is not the same as hitting a home run in the big leagues."
