Remember Adam Lind?

The former Blue Jays 1B/DH had a big day Sunday with triple-A Las Vegas as he went 4-for-5 with two doubles.

Lind was dispatched to Vegas on May 17 to clear his mind and work on his swing. On June 1, GM Alex Anthopoulos said that due to his great performance with the 51s he expected him to be returning "soon."

But now it's June 11 and Lind remains on the outs even though in 21 games he is batting .405 (34-for-84) with six doubles, three home runs and 17 RBIs.

But don't expect a return any time soon. Blue Jays manager John Farrell said Monday prior to the Nationals-Jays game that Lind still needs to work on baseball issues. The Jays may also have been cheesed off about his conditioning, or lack thereof.
