The Celtics are replacing Ray Allen by signing a horde of shooting guards.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Celtics have reached an agreement for one year with free-agent guard Leandro Barbosa.

Barbosa, 29, joins the Celtics after spending last season with the Pacers and Raptors. In Toronto, he averaged 12.2 points per game in 42 appearances.

After losing Allen in free agency to the rival Heat, the Celtics responded by signing Jason Terry and Courtney Lee. But after waiving Jamar Smith and Dionte Christmas and with Keyon Dooling's retirement, there was room for another guard. Boston locked in on former Sixth Man of the Year Barbosa.
