It was pretty obvious playing his third game in four nights that Andre Drummond didn't have it Monday.

He played 19 minutes in the 108-98 victory over the Raptors, but managed only four points and four rebounds. For only the second time this season, he didn't block a shot or get a steal.

The result didn't surprise Pistons coach Lawrence Frank, who has shown patience with Drummond even as an excited fan base has clamored for more playing time for the rookie.

Frank is eager to unleash Drummond, 19, as well. If it weren't for that 22-game detour with an injured back, Drummond probably would be on the floor enough to suit fans' wishes.

"This one's tough, and that's all part of it," Frank said. "You can't miss two months and not have any residual effect. It takes time, and we're fully aware of it. He still had some moments in there."
