Veteran safety LaRon Landry's first stop on the opening day of free agency was Indianapolis, where the Colts have been on a spending spree, signing five players on Tuesday.

If Landry doesn't get a deal done with the Colts, he has plenty of other visits on his itinerary, including Detroit, according to Yahoo Sports Jason Cole.

The Lions took a look at Landry last offseason after he was released by the Washington Redskins. Dealing with an Achilles tendon injury that cost him 15 games the two previous seasons, the Lions simply felt the price tag was too high.
