With under 10 percent of the season played, the NBA has opened up voting for the All Star Game. That doesn't make much sense to me, but apparently it makes sense to them. They have released the ballots and a variety of ways that you can vote for the starting lineups up until January 14th. On the ballot, you will find three members of the Cleveland Cavaliers: Kyrie Irving, Anderson Varejao, and....Omri Casspi. Yes, Omri Casspi. I don't get it either.

You may or may not have heard that they changed the voting for the ASG this year in that you now vote for three "frontcourt players" instead of 2 forwards and 1 center. If you were still required to vote in a center, I think Varejao would be a good bet to represent the Eastern Conference right now. I think Kyrie Irving has a pretty good shot at being one of the starting guards for the East as well. Omri Casspi probably has no shot.

If you want to vote for Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters, or any other member of the Cavaliers -- you'll have to write them in. Lame.
