At least the Knicks are primed to get off to a winning start to the 2013-14 season.

The Knicks will open vs. the rebuilding Bucks at the Garden according to an NBA source. The NBA’s full schedule will be announced on an NBA TV special Tuesday night.

The Bucks who earned the eighth seed this past season appear in rebuilding mode after losing their top players such as Monta Ellis Brandon Jennings Mike Dunleavy and J.J. Redick during free agency.
While it made sense the Knicks and Nets would open vs. each other it was not to be though they will have one prime game MLK Day. The NBA source confirmed the Knicks will face the Heat the night before Super Bowl Sunday.

The Post reported today ex-Raptor Andrea Bargnani will face the music real early as the Knicks have a preseason game scheduled in Toronto in October.
