Often injured and almost always sick, New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler hasn’t played in more than 66 games one time since the 2007-2008 season.

Sure, he’s a defensive anchor in the middle, but at $14 million dollars plus, sitting on the bench for a quarter of the season isn’t exactly overly effective.

That said, the New York Knicks have no plans to move their big man, this according to ESPN’s Marc Stein as the team continues to rebuff any offers that come their way:

The Knicks continue to get calls for center Tyson Chandler and, according to sources close to the situation, continue to scoff at every one. New York, to this point, has no interest in parting with its defensive anchor. (Which is smart if the Knicks are set on re-signing Carmelo Anthony to that megadeal this summer.)
