Kings-Warriors felt like a preseason game - which it was - until it didn't. Despite the turnovers (25) the lack of ball/body movement (17 assists) and sloppy play throughout the Kings' rallied from a 17-point deficit in what became another very intense heated contest between Northern California's NBA teams. The theatrics included the following: DeMarcus Cousins and Andrew Bogut exchanging words and elbows. Isaiah Thomas and Steph Curry in a little staredown (with Cousins playing peacemaker) near midcourt. David Lee running into the visitors locker room after being inadvertently popped in the mouth and bloodied during a scrum with Patrick Patterson.

Ok and that was the on-court stuff. The off-court drama is almost as compelling given the numerous relationships and connections between Kings new owners Vivek Ranadive and Mark Mastrov GM Pete D'Alessandro coach Michael Malone advisor Chris Mullin etc. and the Warriors ownership and front office. Again this is only preseason but in a very classy gesture GSW GM Bob Myers and assistant GM Kirk Lacob walked across the court afterward and shook hands with Ranadive and Mastrov.
