The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Jeff Carter from the injured reserve list and have placed goaltender Jonathan Quick on the injured reserve list (retroactive to November 12) due to a lower body injury, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Carter, 28, has played in 14 games for the Kings this season and has nine points (5-4=9) and six penalty minutes. At the time of his injury – he was originally placed on the injured reserve list on November 2 due to a lower body injury -- his five goals co-lead the team along with Justin Williams.

Quick, 27, has played in 16 games for the Kings and has a 10-5-0 record, one shutout, a 2.35 goals-against-average and a .905 save percentage.
