The Eagles have an offensive coordinator and a special teams coordinator, but not a defensive coordinator.

They also have some position coaches, but not an offensive line coach.

How do we know this?

Well, certainly not from the Eagles. A team spokesman said new coach Chip Kelly won't announce his staff until everyone is hired.

On the surface, it's not a big deal if Kelly wants to announce it all at one time. But Kelly was at the Senior Bowl practices this past week in Mobile, Ala., evaluating prospective players for the NFL draft in April, and the only way anyone could tell he had hired assistants was by the Eagles clothing they were wearing — a hat, a sweatshirt or name tag.

Perhaps one name tag read: "Hi, My Name Is Pat Shurmur, Offensive Coordinator. Don't talk to me because I officially don't work for the Eagles yet, even though I do."
