Infielder Jurickson Profar acknowledged the obvious on Tuesday: He will likely lose the season to a pair of torn muscles in the area under his right arm.

Profar was in the Rangers clubhouse for the first time since the club announced during the recent road trip that he’d suffered a recurrence of the teres major muscle. When the club announced the injury on May 22, we reported that he would likely be lost for the season as the team will take an ultra conservative approach in letting the muscle heal since it is not typically repaired via surgery.
