And just like that, the Red Wings have given back home-ice advantage to the Anaheim Ducks.

Anaheim came into Joe Louis Arena on Sunday and outplayed the Red Wings in a 4-0 victory.

The Ducks lead the best-of-seven Western Conference quarterfinal series 2-1 with Game 4 at 8 p.m. Monday.

Nick Bonino (power play), Ryan Getzlaf (short-handed), Emerson Etem and Matt Beleskey (power play) had Ducks goals. Goalie Jonas Hiller got the shutout.

The Red Wings also may have also lost the services of Justin Abdelkader after a hit on Ducks defenseman Toni Lydman.

Abdelkader was penalized for charging and given a game misconduct for leaving his skates on a second-period hit on Lydman at 15:11. Replays showed Abdelkader did leave his feet when he made contact with Lydman and there was contact with Lydman's head.

Lydman was visibly woozy while on all fours on the ice. The Ducks announced early in the third period Lydman was under evaluation and wouldn't return for Game 2.
