The Jets are making a change to their starting offense this week but it’s not at quarterback.

The Jets will start rookie Brian Winters at left guard and bench Vlad Ducasse a source confirmed.

Winters was the team’s third-round pick in April’s NFL Draft out of Kent State. Winters was slowed by an ankle injury during training camp and was beat out by Ducasse.

Ducasse the team’s second-round pick in 2010 showed promise in the team’s first two games. He played his best game against the Patriots in Week 2 pancaking Vince Wilfork on a touchdown run. But he struggled in the last two weeks. He’s committed four penalties and struggled in pass protection
