The Jets have added another quarterback into the mix.

Geno Smith, thought by many to be the best overall quarterback prospect in the Draft, slipped all the way to the Jets in the second round. They did not let him slide any further.

The Jets drafted their third quarterback since 2009, adding him to the depth chart alongside Mark Sanchez, David Garrard, Tim Tebow, Greg McElroy and Matt Simms.

Smith said on the broadcast that he is planning to come in and compete with Sanchez to be the team's starting quarterback. Training camp, already thought to be an interesting venture, will now be an all-out spectacle surrounding the quarterback competition following a year when Sanchez played alongside Tebow.

The move does not bode well for Sanchez's future with the team.
