Jets running back Mike Goodson will enter a plea of not guilty to all charges at his arraignment this morning, according to his lawyer.

Goodson, 25, will appear in court in Morristown, N.J., to answer to weapons and drug charges. Goodson was arrested Friday after police found him intoxicated in a car in the middle of Route 80 shortly after 3 a.m. Goodson was the passenger in the car, but allegedly was found to have marijuana on him, according to police. The state troopers also found a loaded gun in the car with hollow point bullets.

“The gun wasn’t his,” Tony Fusco, Goodson’s lawyer, said. “We’re going to be able to show that. We’re very confident.”

Fusco also said the marijuana did not belong to Goodson. He said Goodson was intoxicated from alcohol use at the time of his arrest. Goodson faces possible jail time if convicted on the weapons charges.

“You’re always worried,” Fusco said. “You don’t want to get cocky. But I’m pretty sure that we’ll be able to show it wasn’t his.”
