The Jets cut quarterback Brady Quinn on Saturday. On Sunday night he’ll be back on the team.

Per a league source the Jets plan to bring Quinn back after Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers.

The move was made to avoid guaranteeing Quinn’s $715000 salary for the full season. Under the labor deal a player with four or more years of service is entitled to receive the full amount of his base salary as termination pay if he’s on the Week One roster and if he’s thereafter cut.
