The Winnipeg Jets were without their No. 1 goalie Friday as they prepared for today's game against the Ottawa Senators at Scotiabank Place (1 p.m., CBC, TSN 1290).
Though he was on their flight to Ottawa, Ondrej Pavelec had flu-like symptoms and did not practise with the team Friday.
Jets coach Claude Noel didn't seem that confident that Pavelec would be available today.
"We determined it was best to keep him away from the team," Noel said.
"He was on the flight. But he did not look good."
That's likely to mean Al Montoya will see his second start today.
