The Carmelo Anthony free agency sweepstakes moved from Chicago to Houston on Wednesday, and the Rockets' attempts to woo the All-Star forward have apparently rubbed one of their own players the wrong way.

Anthony arrived at the Toyota Center in Houston to see images of himself in a Rockets No. 7 jersey. A poster near the locker room also depicted him wearing a red Rockets jersey while holding the Larry O'Brien trophy with the words, "The key to a championship formula." Chicago used a similar visual tactic during its pitch to Anthony on Tuesday.

The key difference between the Bulls' pitch and the Rockets' pitch? Houston guard Jeremy Lin happens to wear No. 7 and, even though his name has swirled in trade rumors for months, he is currently under contract with Houston for the 2014-15 season.
