The Minnesota Vikings had an empty spot on the roster following the release of tight end A.C. Leonard. . .which we still don't really know all the details of. . .and they signed another tight end to put in that spot.

On Sunday, the team signed tight end Kory Sperry, who has some familiarity with Norv Turner. He was a member of the San Diego Chargers from 2010 to 2012 when Turner was the team's offensive coordinator head coach (my mistake).
