Jose Bautista continues to progress from the injury that caused him to miss the final six weeks of the 2013 season. The Toronto Blue Jays right fielder told Jim Bowden on SiriusXM’s Inside Pitch that he has been cleared for full-body workouts after getting a clean bill of health from doctors.

Bautista, who is healing from a bone bruise on the neck of his left femur, was cleared for upper-body work late last month. He did not play after leaving an August 20 game against the New York Yankees.

The 33-year-old finished the 2013 season with 28 home runs and an .856 OPS. Though he finished 2012 and 2013 on the disabled list, he has reached the 25-home run plateau in each of the past four seasons
