Cleared by doctors on Monday, Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny returned to practice Wednesday and “absolutely” intends to play Sunday at Houston.

Posluszny sustained a concussion late in the Jaguars’ win Nov. 10 at Tennessee and missed the loss to Arizona.

“I would be really, really disappointed in myself if I don’t play on Sunday,” Posluszny said in the locker room today. “I don’t see anything happening that would [prevent him playing]. If I start running around and going through practice and don’t feel right, then we’ve got to be careful. But I worked out Monday and Tuesday and felt good moving around a little bit today [during the walk-through].”

Posluszny described how he was injured.

“Quarterback scramble, I was in my drop and then came downhill trying to make the tackle and [Andre] Branch was chasing him,” he said. “Quarterback slides and we both kind of go in there and I get helmet-to-helmet right in the sweet spot, the side of the head.”

Posluszny got to his feet after the play but was wobbly.
