Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who was suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, was suspended indefinitely last week and will miss the remainder of the season after once against violating the NFL substance abuse policy.

Blackmon will be eligible to apply for reinstatement at the beginning of the 2014 season, but first he has some plans to take care of his problems off the field.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday NFL Countdown, the troubled Jaguars receiver is set to enter a rehab facility.

Like San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith earlier this year, it is a step that needed to be taken.
