Don’t tell Jacoby Jones how the odds are stacked against a Ravens repeat in next season’s Super Bowl. Since the Broncos won back-to-back in the 1997 and 1998 seasons, only the Patriots, in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, have repeated in 15 years. In fact, those Patriots were the only team to even play in two straight Super Bowls in the past 15 years.

But Jones, speaking on the NFL Network on Friday, said there’s no reason the Ravens can’t win the NFL championship again.

“Why not? Yeah, we can. We have a great team,” Jones said (via Pro Football Talk). “We’re scary. Bernard Pierce, he’s a rookie — he can play. We have Ray [Rice], he comes out of the backfield catching the ball and running. And then we have young receivers that people don’t even know about. We’re scary. I want everybody to back to sleep on us like they did already.”
