It has been a disappointing offseason for Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart to say the least. After missing seven games in 2012 due to nagging injuries, the veteran underwent surgery on each of his ankles this offseason.

For a player entering his sixth season in the NFL, having injuries to both ankles will certainly hold him back. In fact, it was reported last week that Stewart will likely not be ready for the start of training camp.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Stewart reportedly had to withdraw from a charity golf tournament over the weekend because of ankle soreness.
