Pistons guard Brandon Knight practiced Tuesday and flew with the team to Washington D.C. for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center.

But Pistons coach Lawrence Frank said Knight's day-to-day status has not changed. Knight has missed the last three games with a hyper-extended right knee and has worn a wrap. Knight is not expected to play Wednesday, but he could play either at New Orleans or San Antonio before this three-game swing ends.

Pistons guard Jose Calderon wants to see Knight return.

"He is a great player for us," Calderon said. "He does a lot of things andhe will help us. He is a guy that can get easy points."
