Jarome Iginla didn't run from the facts.

"The last five games, unfortunately, haven't been really good," admitted the Calgary Flames captain in the aftermath of Monday's 3-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues.

They haven't been good for the Flames — even if the first game of that stretch was a 1-0 win over the Los Angeles Kings — and they haven't been kind to the face of the franchise.

During the disappointing four-game homestand in which the Flames only managed a couple of charity points for losing in extra time, they've been downright dreadful.

The numbers tell the tale for Iginla: No goals, one assist and a minus-6 rating during the last four outings.
