Dirk Nowitzki isn't ready to hang up his Mavericks shorts for the final time just yet. The face of the Dallas hoops franchise said Sunday that as long as he's still able to drive and post, he'll stay in the game for, "a couple more years."
Nowitzki, who turns 34 next month, has two more years on his current contract. Perhaps adding a superstar could make things easier on one of the game's greatest players.
But would Nowitzki be comfortable having another player be the focus of a team that has been built around him for the past 14 seasons?
