Against the Nets, Anthony Davis suffered another injury, this time to his left shoulder, where he could have returned but Monty decided to play it safe and keep him out:
"When I'm looking at a guy holding his shoulder like that, I'm not going to put him back in," Williams said specifically of Davis, before speaking generally about injuries. "I have to be the brains for our guys (in terms of making sure they don’t play when they shouldn’t be playing). These guys mean a lot to me. I have to err on side of caution."
- That said, Anthony Davis looks like he'll miss tonight's game:
@hornets rookie PF Anthony Davis did not travel with team to OKC for Thunder game tonight due to shoulder injury he suffered Tuesday.
