The regular season had just ended and Henrik Zetterberg, who did so much to keep the battered Red Wings on course during the rough last six weeks, stood in the dressing room answering any questions, from all comers, for almost 15 minutes.

Most were in anticipation of the time when Zetterberg, 31, throws his performance into overdrive: the Stanley Cup playoffs.

"He's a tough goalie," he said of Pekka Rinne, the standout netminder for the Nashville Predators. It will be up to Zetterberg to help solve him beginning Wednesday.
