The Miami Heat reserves have always had a "stay-ready" mentality in terms of playing time.

With swingman Mike Miller unavailable this three-game road trip, the Heat will turn to forward James Jones, center Dexter Pittman and even seldom-used Terrel Harris to fill the void. Miller did not travel with the team after sustaining a sprained left ankle last Saturday against the Indiana Pacers.

"There's nothing new out of it," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "He'll have to get the swelling out the next few days and then we'll just have to see when he's up on his feet and moving. He's been there before, he's had these before."
