The Chicago Blackhawks recalled two forwards from Rockford and placed defenseman Mike Kostka on injured reserve on Friday.

Jeremy Morin, who scored the game-winner in Rockford’s victory over the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday night, was recalled from the IceHogs today. The Blackhawks also recalled forward Brad Mills, who they agreed to terms on a one-year deal with today.

Meanwhile, Kostka was placed on injured reserve, retroactive to Tuesday, the day he suffered a lower-body injury that will keep him out the next 4-6 weeks. Coach Joel Quenneville said Kostka “got hit” while skating with the extra players on Tuesday morning. Kostka was seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot following the Blackhawks’ 6-5 overtime loss on Thursday.
