If all goes according to plan, Roy Halladay should get three more starts in the 2012 regular season.

And then the real work will begin.

Halladay is headed into what most expect to be an important winter in which he will look to regain his strength in his throwing shoulder. Undoubtedly, Halladay will get plenty of recuperative rest before his offseason workouts begin.

Chances are the workouts Halladay takes on this winter will be a little different than what he's done in the past. After missing eight starts during the season because of the injury, as well as a hits and home runs per-nine-innings rate that jumped and a strikeouts-to-walks ratio that dropped, Halladay is due for a bit of a makeover.
