Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley attended practice this morning for the first time since training camp began last week.

He took in the sights and sounds, exchanged pleasantries with several players and then delivered a couple of public service announcements through the media. Heisley, a Chicago-based billionaire, dispelled speculation that guard O.J. Mayo is again on the trading block and that the Griz could lose center Marc Gasol in free agency.

"Right now, we do not have any active effort going to trade O.J. Mayo," Heisley said, also reiterating that the Griz intend to match any offers for Gasol, a restricted free agent.
