Memphis gained most of their advantage in the second quarter and hung tight with the Blazers elsewhere to secure a comfortable win in FedexForum, their seventh in a row at home. The Grizzlies did a nice job of finding and riding the hot hand tonight, and it made for a fun night in Memphis.

Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge put down 51 pts between themselves but needed a total of 44 shots to accomplish that feat. The Griz did a nice job of spreading out their production to mitigate the usual momentum that comes from that level of scoring.

The starting five for the Grizzlies were highly productive, shooting 52.3% for the night, and the Memphis bench chipped in a highly efficient 30 pts. Mike Miller continued his hot streak with a 60% shooting mark and Courtney Lee went en fuego and logged all 16 of his points in the second half. The stat sheet might not necessarily show it, but the Grizzlies were executing their aggression far better than the Blazers.
