Zack Greinke pitched well in his Angels debut Sunday afternoon. In certain moments, he showed exactly why he won the 2009 Cy Young Award with the Royals, and why the Angels and other teams wanted so badly to pry him from the Brewers.
He did made a couple mistakes, however, and with his new team again failing to generate any offense, the Tampa Bay Rays capitalized on those miscues to win at Angel Stadium on Sunday afternoon, 2-0.
"It could have been a lot better. It wasn't perfect," said Greinke, who was acquired in a trade with Milwaukee on Friday.
