Dodgers starter Zack Greinke allowed eight runs (five earned) on six hits in 4 1/3 innings while making his first rehab start for Rancho Cucamonga after breaking his left collarbone a month ago.

Despite the rough outing, Greinke is confident he’ll be able to pitch for the Dodgers as soon as Wednesday when they face the Nationals.

"I am," Greinke said when asked if he was ready to be activated. "I won't be in midseason form, but I feel I'm able to get guys out.
