Former Piston Grant Hill believes that team doctors in Detroit and Orlando may have mismanaged the treatment and diagnosis of his ankle injuries, which may have shortened his career.

In an interview with Jason Whitlock on foxsportsradio.com, Hill discussed his injuries and reflected on his time in Detroit.

"We could do a whole podcast on just my series of injuries and what I think was the mismanagement of those injuries," Hill told Whitlock.

Hill, 38, who plays for the Suns, just finished his 15th season in the NBA. He was drafted third overall by the Pistons in 1994 and averaged 21.6 points in six seasons in Detroit before going to Orlando.

In the 2000 season - his last with the Pistons - Hill broke his ankle in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series against the Heat.
