In an interview in Brazil, the vice-president of Sao Paulo has revealed that if Lucas Moura leaves PSG, it will be for another club in Europe.

Lucas Moura may have long-since snubbed Manchester United, but the stories linking the two continue. And here I am writing yet another one!

The latest headlines have been generated in the PSG winger’s homeland, where his former club Sao Paulo’s vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes has been talking about the prospect of the player returning.

Up until last weekend, Lucas’s future in Paris was the subject of great speculation, with his lack of playing-time leading to his omission from the Brazilian national team for their upcoming friendlies.

He would later start for the French champions against Lorient, and score the first goal in a 4-0 victory. When he started again in the Champions League against Anderlecht, it appeared he had finally sealed a regular starting-birth.

But the rumours continue, the latest generated by Lopes’s comments in Lancenet when asked if he thought Lucas could return to Sao Paulo.
