The Giants have long been open to bringing back some of their own. The latest: Cornerback Aaron Ross, who will re-sign with the Giants, a person with knowledge of the move confirmed. That person requested anonymity because Ross has not yet signed.
Ross was a first-round pick of the Giants in 2007 and won two Super Bowls with the team. He left for the Jaguars in free agency last year, signing a three-year deal, but was cut last week. Ross played 14 games for Jacksonville last season, starting nine.
