Indiana Pacers point guard George Hill took part in the team’s shootaround at Bankers Life Fieldhouse today.

But Hill, who suffered a concussion earlier this week, still isn’t cleared to play in tonight’s Game 6 against the New York Knicks at the fieldhouse.

Pacers coach Frank Vogel said Hill still has some more steps he has to pass in the NBA’s concussion protocol before he’s cleared to play.

“There’s a long list of things that are part of the NBA’s protocol,” Vogel said. “He’s in the middle of that process.”

Hill must complete the series of tests to prove he’s healthy enough to play. The activities include riding a stationary bike, jogging, agility work and non-contact team drills while “ensuring the symptoms don’t return after each one.”
