There won't be any way for Mario Manningham to avoid it during Super Bowl week, especially not with his team in the title game again. He knows every time he turns on the TV for the next eight days, he might see a video of his spectacular Super Bowl XLVI catch.
The catch "seems like it was so long ago," Manningham said, but it still brings a smile to his face and a flood of wonderful memories. But there is something else he thinks of every time he sees himself tip-toeing along the sidelines in Indianapolis last February, making the clutch 38-yard reception that helped the Giants win the Super Bowl.
He thinks about doing it again.
"I just look at it and enjoy it and then I think about the next one, man," Manningham told the Daily News from San Francisco on Friday. "That's all I was saying after last year, too. I was just trying to get back.
"I'm back now."
