Jim Bowden knows a little something about running a major league team. Bowden, who is an analyst for ESPN .com, was previously the general manager of the Cincinnati Reds from 1992-to-2003 and the Washington Nationals from 2005-to-2009.

One of his recent online duties included compiling his 10 bold predictions for the 2012 season. And two of them are very intriguing to the Rangers.

Bowden predicts Nolan Ryan and Jon Daniels will work a trade to acquire power-hitting first baseman Justin Morneau from the Minnesota Twins. The 30-year-old is a four-time All-Star and the 2006 AL MVP.
