FBI agents have blocked the entrance at the Knoxville headquarters of Pilot Flying J, the truck stop business owned by the family of Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and his brother, Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.

The Knoxville News Sentinel and WBIR-TV in Knoxville reported Monday that FBI agents refused to allow traffic to enter the headquarters grounds, wouldn't answer questions and told reporters to leave.

The FBI didn't immediately respond to Associated Press requests for details.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m., the company issued a statement acknowledging that FBI agents had “sequestered” the Pilot Flying J headquarters on Lonas Drive in Knoxville.

“At this time, we do not know the nature of the situation,” the statement said. “Pilot Flying J is cooperating fully with the authorities.”
