If former Miami Dolphins quarterback Pat White wants to give baseball another shot, the Miami Marlins are prepared to take a look.

White on Thursday told 640 Sports' Orlando Alzugaray he has an offer in hand from the Marlins' organization. That is in fact the case. If White chooses to sign the contract he would report to minor league spring training and try to land a spot on one of the club's affiliates.

The Marlins aren't quite sure how committed White is to baseball. They saw reports from the Senior Bowl earlier this week in which White, 26, said he wants another crack at the NFL.
