In all likelihood, the Milwaukee Brewers have not seen the last of Manny Parra.
The defending National League Central Division champion Cincinnati Reds announced Friday they signed the left-handed reliever to a one-year deal. Parra, 30, became a free agent in December when the Brewers opted not to offer him a contract for 2013.
FoxSports.com reported the deal is worth $1 million with a chance to earn another $400,000 in appearance bonuses.
Parra, a 26th-round draft pick in 2001 who signed as a "draft and follow" the next spring, spent his entire career with Milwaukee before being cut loose. He went 2-3 with a 5.06 earned run average last season in 62 appearances, with 35 walks and 61 strikeouts in 59 innings.
