The Bulls will be shorthanded again Sunday when Kirk Hinrich joins Derrick Rose in street clothes as Hinrich continues to battle issues with his right elbow.

The Bulls, who face Oklahoma City in an 8:30 p.m. tipoff, are 5-9 without Hinrich this season.

"It's progressing but not as much as I'd like it to," Hinrich said.

Hinrich is still wearing a full-length soft cast on his right arm, which underwent surgery to repair a burst bursa sac that had become infected. Hinrich missed seven games to that injury, returned in Tuesday's victory at New Orleans, and will sit out his third straight on Sunday.

Hinrich said the scar that had been stitched up split open completely during the New Orleans game. The plan is for the scar to either fully heal or come close to that end, which means Hinrich could miss more games this week.
