After morning shootaround at Temple University, LeBron James wasn’t done with reporters when they were done interviewing him.

“Tell the media your nickname!” James shouted at Dwyane Wade from across the practice court.

What nickname?

“It’s ‘WOW,’ Way of Wade,” James said, referring to the slogan for Wade’s Li-Ning shoes. “I think it’s corny.”

Wade, who discarded the “Flash” moniker long ago, did not concur.

“I’m taking it global!” the Heat guard shouted.

Nights like Saturday won’t hurt that cause.

Wade had his hops from the jump, scoring 33 points on 14-of-18 accuracy in a 114-90 victory against the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers. It was Miami’s 10th straight win, now the second-longest streak of the Big 3 era, with five of them on the road. It was another sign that the Heat’s second-leading scorer has found his second gear.

“He was in a great groove, pull-up jumpers, floaters, getting to the rim,” James said.

Wade welcomed the wide mix of attempts.
