The Ducks have signed defenseman Mat Clark to a one-year contract through the 2013-14 NHL season. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed.

Clark, 22 (10/17/90), has played two career NHL games with Anaheim, going scoreless in 2011-12. The 6-3, 225-pound blueliner appeared in his third American Hockey League (AHL) season in 2012-13, scoring 1-9=10 points with 79 penalty minutes (PIM) in a team-leading 71 games with Norfolk. His goal was the overtime game-winner in a 3-2 victory on Feb. 17 at Bridgeport. Following the AHL regular season, Clark was recalled by Anaheim on Apr. 27 but did not appear in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
