New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week the NFL announced Wednesday.

Brees threw for 413 yards four touchdowns and no interceptions in a 38-17 win against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night to keep the Saints undefeated.

Brees has earned the award a franchise record 15 times since signing with the Saints in 2006. Only Tom Brady (16) has more.

This is the second consecutive week a Saints' player has earned the award this season.
